It’s Thursday night. For some, the weekend begins tomorrow circa 5:00 pm on your bus ride from work to the bar. For most, the decision to inaugurate the weekend began Wednesday night. If you’re reading this and you’re from Seattle, it’s likely you’ve been weighing your options for the past week or so on whether or not to drive 100+  miles to act as a degenerate for 48 hours in arguably the most experimentally nonsensical shit-hole of a town in the U.S.- Leavenworth, Wa; Or stay for Decibel Festival. Sure, beerfest will be cool- but face it people, you just drove half way across the state to drink beer in an actual authentic Bavarian village where Subway deli meat has spent more time in the city than the populous. I mean, no pretenses on the matter but the masquarade you’re looking for this weekend is in Seattle.

You’re all wondering by now why this guy writing is so hellbent on knocking on poor little Leavenworth. Well the real reason is because I’m overly excited for the RAC and Moby concert this weekend and I’d appreciate it if you people were excited about it with me!.. Come on! The most awesome thing about the Decibel Festival this weekend is that it’s not your usual expensive and contractually binding agreement as most festivals tend to be [knowledge], you know where you can’t bring food & drink in, or can’t re enter etc…Here you can choose which shows you want to see, on whichever night works best for you, at various venue’s, all for singular shows across the board; Like a festival split into little picker options… The Baltic Room with Portland’s own RAC will surely be the place to be this Saturday night, and to twist your arm further, here’s some jams to help out the persuasion of the matter.
