We know him as Starsmith, but his birth certificate reads Finlay Dow-Smith born July 8th 1988. The kid is just barely 23 and already making some pretty crafty music with a sound closely resembling the faceless dynamic duo of electronic music themselves, Daft Punk. Starsmith has written and produced Ellie Goulding’s “Starry Eyed”, “The Writer”, and “Guns and Horses”.. amongst others, and has already received praise for a whole stockpile of his up-tempo remixes.
